**Purpose** The **Project Engineer** is a key team member whose primary responsibility is to support the construction activities of the project management team by processing information and controlling all aspects of the project administration. The Project Engineer will support the group by means of organizing and maintaining data records, establishing clear lines of communication between customers, operations, and staff. This role is based around **Indianapolis, IN.** LPX Group headquarters is in Louisville, KY. **Job Responsibilities** * **Onboarding new jobs**: assist in project startup including permitting, electronic file setup, budget preparation and submittal, coordination of the superintendent on\-site needs, job site compliance, data entry, and communication with clients as needed. * **Bid process:** assist with bid preparation under the guidance of the Project Manager, prepare and update pre\-qualification applications, maintain bid list and track process. * **Subcontracts:** Data entry and job costing, initiate approval of monthly applications for payment, change orders, compliance management, and manage ongoing subcontractor correspondence. * **Purchasing:** assist Proj...
