POSITION: ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER DATE: Tuesday, October 13, 2026 JOB DESCRIPTION Northeast Earth Mechanics is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer to work with project management in the estimating and construction of civil and other various projects. This position will be involved in all aspects of construction, from estimating support through to project completion. Will work to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, meet contract requirements and done with the highest levels of safety and quality. Essential Functions * Responsible for soliciting bids from subcontractors and vendors. Evaluate scope and pricing, make recommendations to project management, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders for review by project management. * Ability to assist with the creation and updating of project schedules. * Work with vendors and subcontractors to receive submittals timely, and accurately, in accordance with the project schedule and requirements.
