For over 125 years, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens, and currently offers 160\-plus programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and those struggling with mental illness. **STATEMENT OF THE JOB:** The Financial Analyst II will perform routine\- to moderately complex clerical and technical accounting functions in the maintenance of accounting and internal control systems. The Financial Analyst II will report to the Vice President of Programs. The Financial Analyst II will analyze the financial status of programs and will investigate variances between budget and actual expenditures and projected and actual revenues. The Financial Analyst II will also work with the VP office staff and field staff to ensure that expenditures are allowable; that documentation is obtained timely and labor distribution is appropriate. As necessary, the Financial Analyst II will work with other members of the Management team and finance team to ensure that checks and POs are processed, denials are investigated, and resubmitted and maximum reimbursement is obtained in a timely manner.
