**Job Title:** Engineer / Technical Project Manager **Experience Level:** Junior to Mid\-Level / 1–5 years in engineering, energy systems, project management, or related technical field **Education Level:** Engineering degree preferred; related technical field (energy systems, environmental science, applied science) acceptable **Location:** Must be based in Alaska; Anchorage office presence preferred, Anchorage residents will be expected to come to the office 2–3 days/week when not traveling **Travel:** Site visits to rural Alaska communities expected; frequency determined by project portfolio **ABOUT THE ROLE** DeerStone Consulting is growing its technical team and looking for someone ready to dig in. This is not a support role where you sit behind a senior engineer waiting to be handed tasks; you will own projects. Smaller ones at first, with senior oversight, but yours. You’ll also contribute to larger, more complex efforts alongside our senior technical staff, which means you’ll get exposure to the full project lifecycle fast: development, design, grant support, community engagement, construction coordination, and commissioning.
