### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Days, 4x10hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy RN for a day\-shift outpatient role requiring an active VA or compact RN license and prior GI nursing experience. ### **Details** * Work in a GI Lab, including Preop and Phase 2 recovery areas, in a predominantly outpatient setting * Care for both outpatient and some inpatient GI patients * Patient ratios are 1:1 in preop and 1:3 in Phase 2 recovery * Common procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS * Diagnoses include screening exams, therapeutic ERCPs, diagnostic/therapeutic EUS, and inpatient GI bleeds or abdominal pain * EMR system used is Epic * Schedule is 4x10\-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekends * No on\-call requirements for this unit ### **Requirements** * Active VA or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration * Current BLS and ACLS certifications required * 2 years of GI nursing experience preferred * IV insertion skills required, telemetry experience preferred * Epic EMR experience preferred ### **Additional Information** * Responsibil...
