Description: The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for procuring materials, components, and services required to support mission\-critical manufacturing programs and in\-house materials. This role will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and ensure the timely availability of materials. * Source and procure raw materials, machined parts, electronic components, hardware, PWBs, stencils, tooling, equipment, software, and outside processing services. * Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms. * Place and manage purchase orders (POs) within the ERP system. * Lead supplier communications to resolve delivery issues, shortages, and technical clarifications. * Expedite critical materials and proactively address long lead\-times, capacity constraints, obsolescence, and single\-source dependencies. * Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and cost objectives. * Partner with cross\-functional teams to address supplier corrective actions. * Coordinate with supply chain teams (Stockroom, Receiving) on incoming materials, production kits, shelf life materials, and other s...
