### **Description** We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full\-time Assistant Engineer working as a Hydraulics/Hydrology Engineer in our Water Resources’ Flood and Drainage group. The position entails performing civil technical analyses, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, project scheduling, site inspections, storm drain design, and construction cost estimating. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in flood control, hydrology, hydraulics, and climate resilience, and is driven, quick with learning tools and technology, and has a great “can\-do” attitude. This is a staffed, hourly, non\-exempt position.### **A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Assistant Engineer** * Performing as a member of an interdisciplinary modeling team managed by a Senior Level Project Engineer. * Performing field investigations as part of a team to visually inspect, measure, photograph, and document storm drainage facilities. * Preparing technical analyses for a wide array of projects in both the Private and Public sectors. * Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analyses in various software. * Preparing Technical Reports, Maps, and Presentations. ### **Qualifications \& Skills** * ...
