**ABOUT THE POSITION** ---------------------- The Clark County Administrative Services Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Recreation/Cultural Program Administrator position within the Special Events division. This position provides leadership and oversight for the planning, production, and execution of community\-focused events that support Clark County Commissioners’ Community Engagement Initiatives. The Recreation/Cultural Program Administrator provides leadership to event coordinators, production staff, and other event personnel while coordinating closely with elected officials, County departments, vendors, and community partners. This team member also provides strategic direction throughout the event planning and production process and ensures events are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Clark County policies, procedures, and applicable codes. This role requires a strong communicator who builds positive relationships, develops and supports staff, works collaboratively across diverse teams and with stakeholders, exercises sound judgment, and remains calm and solution\-focused when challenges arise.
