Currently we are seeking a Project Engineer to join the RJN family.** **Position Summary:** Complete and oversee a variety of professional assignments in one or more specialized areas of municipal engineering involving research, planning, design, construction and maintenance of water, sanitary, storm water, transportation and other municipal projects. **Position Responsibilities:** * Prepare and check detail plans, design calculations, cost estimations and recommendations prepared by other engineers for completeness, mathematical accuracy and conformity to engineering practices and standards. * Compile and analyze engineering data and prepare conclusions and recommendations. * Design and prepare preliminary and final plans for water, sanitary, storm water, transportation and other municipal projects. * Discuss plans, specifications and work schedules with contractors, utility companies and other governmental agencies. * Participate in studies t...
