**We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant** Based in Richmond and reporting to the US Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be an integral part of the Finance Team and help achieve departmental objectives in a dynamic and deadline\-driven environment within the broader Hamilton Insurance Group. You’ll have leadership responsibility for aspects of our accounting, reporting and systems processes. What you will help us do * Oversee monthly and quarterly close procedures for technical insurance accounts and high judgment accounting areas * Ensure management information and financial reporting are complete, accurate and timely * Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations for insurance balance sheet accounts * Provide analytical reviews of financial metrics * Assist with the preparation of US insurance statutory filings * Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP * Work across teams to project manage systems implementations, upgrades and automation initiatives focusing on the integrity of the financial data, processes and controls * Maintain accounting policies \& procedures and ensure financial statements and underwrit...
