Grip Tight Tools is a manufacturer and wholesaler for hardware products, paint products, locksmith products, tools and many more. GTT also carries a full outdoor stone and Granite line. We are a well\-established hardware and stone wholesaler, selling products in our industry for over 20 years. The company is currently looking to hire a Purchasing \& Logistics Coordinator (must have import buying experience). **Duties for the Import Logistics** : 1\. Follow up and process international ocean import shipments. 2\. Negotiate rates with various shipping lines and determine the most effective route. 3\. Follow up with custom brokers on the customs clearance process. 4\. Schedule deliveries to company warehouses (inbound) with trucking companies and/or our drivers. 5\. Arrange the shipping documents for customs brokerage team to get the customs release and to insure ISF filing. 6\. Entering shipments (bills and bill payments) in our QuickBooks system. Calculating the overall expenses per shipment (broadcasted expenses) and determine the expense ratio to reflect landed cost in QuickBooks. **Duties for Purchasing:** 1\.
