**Location:** Upper East Side, Manhattan, NYC. **Hours:** Full\-time, five days a week, 10:00 – 6:00 (37\.5 hours/week). Saturday availability is required. **Salary:** $50,000 **Reporting to:** Gallery Manager **Role Overview:** We are looking for a reliable, meticulous and proactive \[insert job title here] to join our New York team. This is a hands\-on role, and shipping, logistics and operations are the core of it: packing and dispatching rare books and works on paper, handling couriers and customs documentation, keeping detailed shipping logs, moving and caring for stock, preparing for book fairs, and ensuring that the gallery runs smoothly day to day. The position is entry\-level, but we are looking for someone to take real ownership of it. Shipping and operations in New York will be this person's department to run, and there is room to grow as this side of the business expands. At least one year's experience in shipping, logistics or operations is preferred.
