**\*\*\*\*MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEK\-ENDS AND 1 HOLIDAY PER YEAR\*\*\*\*** **SUMMARY:** Reports to the Director of Clinical Services and works cooperatively with the Director and other team members to effectively implement the Hospice Plan of Care. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in performance of duties to assure quality care. **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Current South Carolina license as a Registered Nurse. * Ability to assess and respond to the needs of Hospice House patients in a compassionate and caring way. * Possesses skills needed to lead a team and work as part of a team. * Skilled in Nurse Practice, able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles. * Able to lift 50 pounds from knee to chest. * Professional positive attitude required. * Ability to embrace the mission and culture of the organization. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * May serve as a charge nurse and/or staff nurse. * Supervises the care being rendered by CNA's and ancillary staff. * If serving as charge nurse, supervises the documentation and care being rendered by the LPN staff and other RN staff. * Assist with calling for coverage (for call offs and as needed). * Assist s...
