**Property Accounting Manager** =============================== **About the Role** ------------------ Reporting to the Controller, the Property Accounting Manager will oversee accurate financial reporting and effective financial management across a portfolio of industrial real estate assets, including stabilized properties and projects in the development/construction stages. While this role will not have direct reports, it will manage relationships with external accounting consultants and provide detailed review and oversight of their work. This role requires strong communication, strong accounting expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements. This position is based in our Chicago Loop office, with an in\-office schedule Monday through Thursday. **Responsibilities** -------------------- Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Main contact for Baker Tilly, who is responsible for the accounting of stabilized properties. * Reviews property workpapers and related financials prepared by either Logistics Property Company staff or Baker Tilly; communicating necessary adjustments, monthly updates, and/or process changes/improvements. * Responsible for c...
