Leeco Steel is looking for a detail\-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping and receiving documentation for inbound and outbound steel plate loads. If you have a strong logistics or traffic background in a warehouse environment, we want to hear from you! To collaborate with transportation providers to ensure prompt shipments and pick\-ups are made to meet customer due dates in the most accurate and cost\-effective way. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: * Coordinate and negotiate freight rates with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments * Monitor all outbound shipments to ensure orders are in transit as scheduled * Communicate any issues, delays, or budget restraints with our sales team * Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy * Prepare Bill of Ladings and send finalized shipping documents to billing * Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized * Enter receivers/manifests of material from steel mills via Rail or Truck. * Manage a shipping schedule to accurately show sales/billing daily shipments * Read and understand material certifications * Manage and ensure traff...
