Assistant Project Manager Job Description The position of Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day management of assigned projects under the supervision of a Project Manager. At Phoenix Millworks, the Assistant Project Manager plays a critical supporting role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Assistant Project Manager works collaboratively with the full project team, comprised of the estimator, project manager, draftsman, programmer, and plant manager, to help coordinate project timelines, track costs, manage documentation, and facilitate clear communication between the company and its clients. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow within the company. Assistant Project Managers are expected to develop a solid understanding of the commercial architectural millwork process while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail in all phases of project execution.
