**Senior GL Accountant** **Location: Oklahoma City, OK, 73108** **Position Summary** The Senior GL Accountant is responsible for complex general ledger accounting, full\-cycle month\-end and year\-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and accurate financial reporting. This position independently manages higher\-risk accounts, reviews selected accounting work, researches and resolves complex issues, and serves as a technical resource to the accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, able to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines, and committed to improving accounting processes and controls. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Prepare and post journal entries, perform account analysis, and complete assigned month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Lead assigned portions of the close process, monitor deadlines, identify issues, and ensure accurate and timely completion. * Perform and review bank, balance sheet, and other complex account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances. * Prepare, reconcile, and validate general ledger uploads, account roll forwards, and supporting schedules. * Prepare and review financial s...
