Job Summary As an Intermodal Dispatch \& Supply Chain Coordinator at Safebridge Translog, you will manage the specialized lifecycle of containerized loads moving through major railyards, with a heavy focus on the **Joliet, IL intermodal hubs**. You will balance driver schedules, chassis availability, and rail cut\-off times to maximize our fleet’s efficiency, avoid costly storage fees, and maintain peak profitability. **Joliet, IL intermodal/Drayage dispatch experience required: minimum 2 years** **\- \> Amazon Relay and DAT experience is plus** Core Responsibilities * **Intermodal Dispatching:** Assign container and chassis moves to company drivers and owner\-operators based on proximity, hours of service (HOS) availability, and specific railyard credentials. * **Railyard \& Hub Coordination:** Navigate daily operations across major Joliet\-area hubs (e.g., Union Pacific Global IV, BNSF Logistics Park Chicago \- LPC) and manage gate processes, container pre\-pulls, and drop\-and\-hook schedules. * **Chassis \& Asset Management:** Track and optimize the utilization of ocean/rail chassis pools or private chassis to ensure drivers have the proper equipment before arriving at the stac...
