Overview: **WHO are we looking for?** CAPTRUST is seeking a ***Senior Tax Associate***who will work with team members to provide high net worth families, individuals, and their related entities with tax compliance and tax consulting services. The position is responsible for adding to the team's efforts in all client activities including tax planning, compliance, and executing all tax projects effectively. This position will also develop tax planning techniques for clients and make general recommendations for additional services where appropriate. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others: Responsibilities: * Meet and correspond with clients or potential clients regularly * Meet and correspond with other advisors or professionals including attorneys, CPAs, and investment advisors to collaborate on servicing shared clients * Prepare tax basis financial statements for small, family\-owned entities; this may include reviewing clients’ internal financials and proposing adjustments to correct bookkeeping errors * Support with annual tax return preparation and review for individuals, trusts, and business entities using tax software; this may include reviewing prepar...
