APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE\*\*\* **Job Summary** --------------- The Community and Provider Engagement Unit (CPEU) of the Nevada Health Authority is seeking a Social Services Program Specialist 3 in Reno. This position will serve as the Tribal and Community Liaison through encouraging tribal and community stakeholder engagement with the Agency and collaborate among the CPEU to engage with tribal and community groups in a manner that fosters and builds partnerships with these constituencies. The incumbent is responsible for promoting positive government\-to\-government relations between the Agency and Indian tribes; and promoting cultural competency in providing effective services to Indian tribes. This position is additionally responsible to ensure open and consistent communication with the Agency, including, without limitation, meeting regularly (as invited or requested) with designated officials of Indian tribes and other community groups to build, strengthen and sustain the relationship between Indian tribes, community groups, and the Agency.
