### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Oct 19, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2\+ years of specialty experience and cardiac telemetry skills. ### **Details** * Medical Surgical unit with cardiac telemetry overflow capabilities * Night shift, 3x12\-hour shifts from 18:45 to 7:15 * Patient population includes chest pain, CAD, PVD, arrhythmias, DM, COPD exacerbation, PNA, HTN, MI, renal failure, PE, CHF, GI bleed, and syncope * Potential for med\-surg overflow patients including GI bleed, sepsis, CVA, and COVID positive cases * Care for pre/post cath lab, PPM/AICD, ablations, post\-op CABG, post\-op thoracotomy, vascular surgeries (CEAs, fem\-pops), and AAA repair patients * Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, and heparin * Performs bedside sheath pulling * Uses telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, PCAs, epidurals, and wound vacs * Patient ratio of 1:6 * Epic charting system experience preferred * Can be pulled to all other inpatient units * No call ...
