The **Medical Assistant** (MA) plays a key role in supporting providers and the care team in delivering high\-quality, patient\-centered healthcare within a managed care environment. The MA performs both clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and compliance with managed care protocols and quality metrics. **Clinical Responsibilities:** * Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient visits. * Escort patients to exam rooms, verify patient identity, obtain and document vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history in the electronic health record (EHR). * Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed. * Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under the providers supervision and according to state and clinic policy. * Perform EKGs, vision tests, and other diagnostic screenings as required. * Collect and process lab specimens; ensure proper labeling and documentation. * Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EHR, ensuring all information is complete prior to provider review. * Conduct pre\-charting and ensure all required documentation, lab results, and p...
