Job description Structural Engineer – Entry Level / EIT York Engineering is seeking a Entry\-Level Structural Engineer. We are looking for an Engineer\-in\-Training (EIT) or a college junior or senior graduating with a civil or structural engineering degree who has relevant structural engineering experience. Responsibilities * Assist with structural engineering design and calculations for residential and other building projects * Prepare engineering calculations, estimates, and minor structural designs * Draft structural plans, details, components, and callouts using AutoCAD and related software * Review architectural and structural plans for accuracy and coordination * Complete assigned work within project budgets and deadlines * Apply applicable building codes, including the IRC and IBC * Coordinate with engineers, clients, contractors, and building officials to resolve structural questions * Assist senior engineers with project research, bids, and technical documentation * Perform occasional site visits * Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications * Obtaining bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or a related engineering field; or currently enrolled as a college s...
