APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE\*\*\* **Job Summary** --------------- The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) is hiring a Compliance/Audit Investigator 2 in our Field Audit Office in Las Vegas, NV. The incumbent will be responsible for resolving in\-state and out\-of\-state wage protests/blocked claims in accordance with the requirements of the Employment Security Investigator's Manual and Division standards, handling Special Assignment Investigations involving unregistered employers and worker misclassification issues, conducting in\-person field visits, and preparing comprehensive reports including: case histories maintained in chronological order documenting contacts or attempted contacts with employer or claimant; detailed narratives of the findings based on the evidence gathered; recommendations with regards to employer action and establishment of claimant's wages; and audit recommendations.
