The incumbent reports to the Director of Revenue and provides leadership and oversight for the Corporate and Business Audit and Personal Income Tax Audit programs, directing approximately 60 employees through subordinate managers. The position develops audit strategies, performance goals, and enforcement objectives to enhance tax compliance and revenue collection. The incumbent serves as the primary liaison for external audit vendor contracts, provides guidance to audit leadership and staff, and manages an operational budget exceeding $7\.5 million. **Essential Functions** ----------------------- Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.
