**Controller** **Duties and Responsibilities** The following are duties and responsibilities of the Sr Accountant: * Responsible for the day to day management of the AP/Payroll/Cash functions. * Recording journal entries required to facilitate the month end closing * Reconcile all bank accounts per specifications by VPO (utilizing NetSuite) * Document all Journal entries (to be distributed when requested) * Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances * Review and ensure timely completion of monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained * For example, making sure that the correct amount of host home expense is recorded to match the accrued revenue for similar period * Assist the Controller in implementing new fixed asset recording software * Maintain proper recording of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation * Facilitate and be responsible for completion of the Cost Reports for each entity * Assist Controller to file property tax renditions * Assist Controller with the completion of 1099s annually * Any other responsibilities that may be a...
