Pricing Manager **Job Summary** The position is primarily responsible for establishing the policies and guidelines for pricing of transportation services and associated tariffs and contractual rates. **Essential Duties*** Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures * Engages in competitive intelligence, collects and analyzes information on market trends and conditions, gauges anticipated demand, and uses the information to develop competitive pricing strategies and guidelines * Develops models in relation to current market conditions, available finances, and established overhead * Balances customer needs and values with expected demand to maximize revenue, market share, or profit margin * Engages with other departments; operations, logistics, rating and billing to ensure efficient and accurate sharing of information * Manages communication with sales and marketing to develop effective pricing strategies * Responsible for updating existing policies and procedures as part of Continuous Improvement efforts * Oversees and manages the productivity of the pricing department staff * Ensures proper goals, training, and project requirements are met * M...
