The Director of the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS) is responsible for coordination, oversight, and implementation of the NECAS strategic plan and focus. The Director has the responsibility of providing advice regarding the financial and business affairs of NECAS and providing a link between NECAS and the various community groups, agencies, and organizations with whom NECAS works. The Director provides administrative oversight of Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives, long range planning for the program and instructor continuing education. Duties and Responsibilities **ESSENTIAL****TASKS****:** The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Serves as a visible ambassador and spokesperson for NECAS, effectively communicating its mission, programs, impact, and successes to diverse audiences through public speaking engagements, conference presentations, media interviews, vendor and exhibit opportunities, and meetings with current and prospective clients and partners.
