Description

As a Pediatric LPN or MA, you will play a vital role in our clinic by providing high\-quality pediatric care and supporting our physicians. Your responsibilities will include: * Observes patient and performs basic wound care procedures. * Assists with advanced nursing care as indicated by physician. * Completes vision and hearing screens as per age specific guidelines. * Administers vaccines and medications, obtains hemoglobin levels, collects, and runs tests for urinalysis, rapid streptococcus swab, rapid influenza swab, places PPD’s, and prepares specimens/paperwork to be sent to the lab. * Assists with other procedures such as nebulizer treatments and spirometry. * Adheres to infection control protocols. Disinfects rooms, instruments, and patient care equipment. * Maintains a clean and healthy patient environment of care. * Completes patient care paperwork such as: school physical forms, patient travel forms, immunization cards, referral documents, pre\-operative forms and forms that need signature and approval by physician. * Assists with "Nurse Only" appointments. * Maintains exam rooms stocked according to care protocol, including gowns, ear specula, cups, etc. Removes and re...
