Working under broad administrative direction, the position establishes priorities, supervises section leaders, ensures legal and professional compliance, and provides the Comptroller with timely analysis and recommendations, while also performing the duties of the Comptroller in the absence of the Comptroller, Deputy Comptroller, and First Assistant Comptroller. The incumbent must exercise sound judgment, confidentiality, political neutrality, and a high degree of integrity.
