Description

Verdex Construction is looking for a Lead Construction Superintendent to add to our Operations team to join us in our mission of "Building Something Better." The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for planning and executing the construction of a project or multiple projects assigned to them. This person will provide leadership and direction to the Project Superintendent, Assistant Project Managers, Project engineers, and administrative staff to deliver a quality project within he agreed schedule, maximizing the return to the company while earning repeat business from the client. The Project Manager will also create benchmarks for success and deliverables including managing budget and plan work assignments that meets deadline requirements. **Essential Functions:** * Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. * Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. * Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. * Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. * Plan all construction operations and schedule interm...
