**JOB SUMMARY:** Provide mechanical engineering support for the design, operation, maintenance, improvement, reliability, and expansion of American Pacific Corporation's chemical manufacturing facilities and equipment. Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations for mechanical equipment troubleshooting, failure investigations, repair and replacement decisions, and reliability improvements. Manage mechanical engineering and capital projects ranging from equipment modifications and replacements to large\-scale plant projects, expansions, and new facilities. Initially support the development and implementation of the Company's Mechanical Integrity Program, with the expectation of eventually assuming ownership and overall responsibility for the program. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provide mechanical engineering support for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of the plant. * Design, evaluate, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical equipment and systems, including tanks, pumps, blowers, chiller systems, agitators, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and other fixed and rotating equipment.
