Description

The **Controller** shares responsibility with the CFO to manage and develop financial services, systems, procedures and controls for ATA and affiliated entities to meet business and reporting needs, as well as audit and legal requirements. The Controller should be an experienced and detail\-oriented finance/accounting professional with a sound knowledge of GAAP. Candidates for the Controller position will have held finance roles of increasing responsibility including the ability to maintain a high\-level perspective on the accounting and finance processes, while conducting very detailed work daily. The Controller directly supervises accounting functions, including Payroll Accounts Receivable, Government Contracts, General Ledger, Senior Accountant and Systems Administration; assists in developing the department budget, certain payroll related costs, investments, and inter\-company activity and assists in reviewing the overall ATA budget; and interacts with all ATA staff, other departments, accounting system consultants and vendors, external auditors, banking representatives, investment advisors and actuaries The incumbent is expected to adhere to company policy and procedures, prom...
