**Job Title:** Division Accountant **Location:** Tupelo, MS **Job Summary** **Division Accountant** manages the financial operations, job\-cost tracking, and reporting specific to a division within a larger construction or contracting company. **Key Responsibilities** * **Job Costing \& WIP:** Track project costs, manage Work\-in\-Progress (WIP) schedules, and monitor budget\-versus\-actual expenses. * **Billing \& Revenue:** Handle progress billings, client invoices, retainage tracking, and appropriate revenue recognition methods (such as the percentage\-of\-completion method). * **Accounts Payable \& Receivable:** Process vendor invoices, monitor aged receivables, and manage lien waivers or sub\-contractor payments. * **Financial Reporting:** Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and division\-specific cash flow or cost\-forecasting reports. \[ * **Cross\-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Project Managers, operational leads, and corporate accounting to review job performance and address change orders. **Required Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred * **Experience:** 3 to 5 ye...
