Overview: Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and managing the clinical medical records system. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff. Qualifications: ### **Required Education** High school diploma or GED required. ### **Preferred Education** Completion of a medical terminology course preferred. ### **Required Skills and Qualifications** * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage stressful situations professionally, calmly, and courteously. * Basic knowledge and understanding of medical terminology. ### **Required Experience** One to two years of customer service experience required. ### **Preferred Experience** Two years of customer service experience in a healthcare\-related setting preferred. ### **Age of Patients Served** All age groups.
