Backyard Discovery is seeking a detail\-oriented Logistics Coordinator to help coordinate direct\-to\-consumer and retail shipments. If you enjoy keeping things organized, solving shipping challenges, and working with others to meet deadlines, this role offers an opportunity to grow your logistics and supply chain experience. **This position will be Tuesday\-Thursday, 6am\-4pm.** Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you’ll work with carriers, retail partners, and internal teams to support accurate, timely shipments. You’ll also cross\-train in related logistics functions to broaden your knowledge and support the department. **What You’ll Do** * Schedule, book, and track direct\-to\-consumer and full truckload freight shipments. * Process and troubleshoot electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions with retail trading partners. * Prepare bills of lading, assign freight classifications using NMFC codes, and complete other shipping documentation. * Resolve carrier discrepancies, including shipment damages, shortages, and billing disputes. * Monitor on\-time delivery performance and freight costs, reporting trends to the Logistics Manager. * Maintain accurate shipment and inventory d...
