**Tectonic is actively seeking full\-time Project Engineers / Assistant Resident Engineers to work on a variety of upcoming MTA Transit projects (NYC Transit, Metro North Railroad, Long Island Rail Road, Staten Island Railway, Bus, etc.), as well as for upcoming NJ Transit and Amtrak projects!** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Assists with providing professional engineering and construction oversight services on multiple rail transit design\-build and/or construction projects; * Acting as Client’s representative in the field with contractors, vendors, utilities, owner labor\-forces, and other external parties on projects involving rail transit systems, including rail infrastructure elements such as: stations, facilities, shops, yards, signal systems, communication systems, power systems, bridges and viaducts, tunnels, track systems, drainage, structural elements, fare payment systems, vertical transportation systems, security systems, and associated work; * Assists the Resident Engineer (RE) and/or Project Manager (PM) in supervising, coordinating, and tracking all field site activities and provides technical advice on construction and design; recommends and executes corrective actions t...
