**Medical Assistant I** **Location**\- New Port Richey, FL 2 Openings The Medical Assistant I is responsible for providing quality patient care in a team\-based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under direct supervision of a clinician to prepare and assist Premier Community HealthCare Group (PCHG) providers for patient visits. This role will partner with providers and office support to provide best\-in\-class experience and care to our patients. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** ========================================== * Facilitate patient visits and ensure patients are assisted in a timely manner and maintain high patient satisfaction. * Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to, sending or receiving patient medical records; authorizations; obtaining lab/X\-ray reports, hospital/specialists’ consultation notes, completing forms and requisitions as needed * Lab duties may include, but are not limited to, collecting blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens, logging the specimens, and preparing them for testing * Rooming and wrap\-up duties may include, but are not limited to, recording medical information/history, taking vital sig...
