**Job description:** Job Summary We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to source components and materials required to fulfill government defense contracts. You will work directly under the Procurement Manager and alongside the existing procurement team. Responsibilities: * Source and procure components and materials to support production work orders * Create and send requests for quotes (RFQs) to approved vendors * Collect, compare, and analyze vendor quotes for pricing, lead time, and availability * Validate supplier qualification and compliance per contract requirements * Create and issue purchase orders in the company ERP system * Monitor open purchase order delivery status and follow up with vendors on delays * Prepare cost analysis documentation and support margin review * Maintain vendor contact lists and supplier records * Coordinate with warehouse and production teams on material availability and shortage resolution * Maintain accurate documentation and filing per company procedures Requirements Must Have: * 2\+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain * Experience creating RFQs, comparing vendor quotes, and issuing purchase orders * Comfortable wo...
