**Purpose:** This position supervises all aspects day to day duties of supply chain operations staff. This position provides direct supervision Supply Chain Technicians and Supply Chain Inventory Specialists. **Nature and Scope:** This position is accountable for the 24\-hour, 7 day a week management of human and material resources in the inventory control and distribution of patient supplies, surgical supplies, in\-house printed material, and equipment.This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, providing efficient distribution of product to clinical areas and support segments as needed. This person must be able to communicate supply chain issues effectively to nursing groups, physicians, cross functional leaders, marketing, and vendors.This position may conduct periodic reviews of PAR Carts, obsolete inventory, expired inventory, etc. and assure rotation of stock.This position is responsible for scheduling staff to cover day to day duties of nursing units, surgical services, construction, and administration (and any other support segment as necessary).New stock evaluations must be coordinated with purchasing and user departments.
