The Manager applies technical expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws to support the development and execution of tax strategy. This role evaluates and assesses the tax implications of business activities and provides guidance on transactions, financial reporting, and regulatory matters. The Manager maintains the tax risk and control framework, including execution of SOX controls, documentation of uncertain tax positions, and adherence to established governance processes. The role also monitors legislative and regulatory developments and supports responses to regulatory inquiries and filings.
