Tax Accountant Corporate Finance Environment Position Summary The Tax Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization’s tax compliance, reporting, and accounting activities related to income tax, sales and use tax, and property tax obligations. This role ensures timely and accurate preparation of tax filings, reconciliations, audit support, and compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax regulations where applicable. The Tax Accountant partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Group tax departments, external tax advisors, and government agencies to support the company’s overall tax strategy, minimize risk, and maintain compliance with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
