Duties Description Duties Description: The incumbent for this position will report directly to the Regional Highway Work Permit (HWP) Engineer (PE\-1\) and perform the following tasks/duties: * Manage and implement the Regional Highway Work Permit process, triage and organize permit applications, and maintain the system of record, PermiTrack * Ability to utilize other internal and external software systems used in the Permit process, as needed * Review, interpret and implement NYSDOT’s Driveway Policy * Produce technical documents and letters * Coordinate with Residencies, municipalities, consultants and other regional groups * Review plans, traffic impact studies and drainage reports * Ensure compliance with the Department's standards and specifications Opportunity to serve a role within the Incident Command System to support the Department's response to regional and statewide emergency situations, if interested Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
