Description: **Position Summary:** Provides direct support to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Performs work utilizing best practices for licensed practical nurses. Contributes to a collaborative work environment where interactions with patients and co\-workers are respectful and courteous. **Job Specific Responsibilities** * Patient Interaction * Communicates professionally with patients, in person and on the phone, to provide information regarding clinic visits, medical conditions, testing, procedures, medication, and other such related matters. * Documentation * Enters accurate notes into patient electronic charts. Completes Gmed tasks in the gGastro medical records system in a timely manner. Ensures tasks are routinely completed and that outstanding/pending tasks are kept below 100\. * Training * Provides training to co\-workers as needed. Attends training as required. * Other duties as assigned.
