SSU is currently recruiting for a J4 Maintenance and Readiness Logistics (MRD) – Directorate Task Lead / Subject Matter Expert to support U.S. Special Operations Command, Central SOCCENT Operations And Plans Support (SOAPS). This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. Location: MacDill AFB, FL Security Clearance: TS, SCI eligible #### **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Serve as a senior logistics lead planner and subject matter expert. * Senior technical advisor to command on all maintenance and sustainment operations for Special Operations Forces (SOF) equipment and platforms * Oversees and manages maintenance programs for ground, and maritime SOF assets, ensuring maximum operational readiness * Develops and implements maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to SOF mission requirements * Coordinates with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to synchronize maintenance support and logistics integration * Utilizes advanced logistics and maintenance management systems (e.g., GCSSA, SSAVIE, Palantir, Power BI) to track readiness, analyze trends, and inform decisionmaking * Advises senior leadership on equipment lifecycle management, modernization...
