Description: The purpose of this classification is to provide structured training and development for individuals sponsored by the Home Office (Corporate Office) with the ultimate goal of preparing and placing the individual into a permanent Store Manager position upon successful completion of the Store Manager Trainee (SMT) Program. The SMT Program is designed to develop well rounded store leaders by combining in store operational training, online learning, role based immersion, and in person live training events. The SMT will progressively learn, practice, and demonstrate proficiency in all major areas of store operations while supporting daily store functions in assigned training locations. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** The SMT’s number one priority while on the program is the successful completion of all training requirements. In addition, the Trainee supports daily store operations in assigned training locations.
