**Summary** ----------- This position is open until filled\- looking to fill no later than October 1st, 2025\. **PRIMARY TASK:** Direct and manage the daily operations of the Office of the Grays Harbor County Treasurer to ensure effective and efficient operation in accordance with State statutes and local directives. The Chief Deputy has the full responsibility and authority to serve in the absence of the Treasurer. **Essential Duties** -------------------- **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** * Supervise the staff to provide effective and efficient office operations: * Ensure the staff is adequately trained in all areas of office operation: * Maintain and balance accounting records for all funds under the jurisdiction of the County Treasurer. * Assist the Treasurer in the continuing review of office efficiency and governmental operations: * Assist the Treasurer in the preparation of operational and budgetary reviews: * Assist other office positions in the completion of seasonal property tax processing. **Qualifications** ------------------ **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Associate Degree in accounting, business or related field, or four years equivalent bookkeeping or governmental accounting experience...
