**PURPOSE OF POSITION:** Primary responsibility is to oversee the capital projects associated with the ARRC waterfront facilities, including the execution of large multi\-project programs spanning multiple years and funding sources. Provides oversight, direction, and coordination of work performed on assigned, high\-profile projects, funded by federal and state grants, external capital, or internal capital funds. This includes organizing the work, ensuring a safe working environment, overseeing and directing ARRC employees and contractors working on assigned projects, approving changes to Contracts, and approving completed work. Ensures proper documentation is submitted for third party projects and disburses that information to ARRC personnel, or contractors, as necessary. Assists department managers in developing plans for assigned projects. A project plan may include: formulating project concepts; developing goals, scopes, schedules, and cost estimates; assessing risks; and determining financing requirements.
