Overview: The Manager, Sponsored Projects is responsible for the Institute's preaward grant administration with moderate supervision. The position requires extensive interaction with faculty, medical program managers, program administrative managers, Philanthropy, and Finance. Responsibilities: 1\. Primarily responsible for the Institute's sponsored projects and acts as primary liaison with program area administrators and Principal Investigators (PIs) on all preaward aspects of their grants with moderate supervision and management involvement. 2\. Assists with grant proposal preparation, including developing submission checklists after reviewing funding opportunities, budget construction, administrative documents, and formatted proposals per sponsor requirements. 3\. Facilitates, in conjunction with the PI and the program finance manager, the submission of Just\-in\-Time information. 4\. Prepares, reviews, files, and enters grants and subcontracts into the Fibi proposal routing and tracking system and follows up on the status of grant applications, foundation proposals, and collaborative agreements. 5\.
