We are an established Certified Public Accounting firm seeking an experienced audit professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior public accounting audit experience and be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with clients and other members of our team. Experience performing audits of employee benefit plans is a plus, but is not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is looking for greater responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a smaller CPA firm. Responsibilities may include: * Planning and performing financial statement and employee benefit plan audits * Preparing audit workpapers and supporting documentation * Communicating directly with clients * Identifying and resolving audit issues * Working closely with firm leadership throughout engagements **Qualifications:** * Prior public accounting audit experience preferred * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines * Employee benefit plan audit experience is a plus * CPA license or prog...
